I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. Even though you still have school if it's on a weekday, even school can be fun because, at our school, we get to dress up.
And, also, I have a photostory for you. Not related to Halloween, just a photostory. So, here you go!
Thistle came inside after being outside, looking up at the stars. Felicity was inside, updating her poster on the wall.
"Where's Lizzy?" Thistle asked.
"She's getting the mail outside," Felicity replied. "She'll be back in a minute.
As Thistle bent down to see what Felicity was doing, Lizzy rushed inside.
"Our school sent us something!" she declared excitedly. Here, it's addressed to all of us!"
"I wonder what it is?" Thistle said, getting up and walking toward Lizzy.
"Let's find out!" Lizzy suggested, waving the envelope in the air.
They all crowded around Lizzy as she tore open the envelope.
The note said:
Dear Elizabeth, Amythest, and Felicity,
The Mountainside View Academy for Dolls is excited to say that we will be performing the first play of the year! We will be doing a play that one of our own students wrote-"The Double Life".
If you are interested in auditioning for a part, here is a list of all of the characters:
LEANDRA-Lead; Leandra leads a double life
MARIA: Lead; is a part of Leandra's normal life and her best friend
ARIANNA: Supporting; is a part of Leandra's normal life
LILLIANA: Lead; part of Leandra's celebrity life and her best friend
KATRINA: Supporting; part of Leandra's celebrity life.
CHORUS: Extras; sing in the backround
We hope you all will audition!
The auditions will be held Friday in Mrs. Rianna's room (room 2).
Lizzy was so excited! She loves to act.
"This will be so much fun!" she nearly shouted, making Thistle stumble backward.
"I hope you get in, Lizzy," Thistle said, still dazed.
"You're trying out, too, right?" Lizzy asked, although it wasn't really meant like a question.
"Acting isn't really my thing," Thistle pointed out.
"Mine, either," Felicity agreed.
"So, you might not get in. So what? It's still fun to audition!" Lizzy pleaded. "At least come for me!"
After lots of discussion, the three dolls all agreed to try out togehter.
